Introduction

Dua Òptica, in Banyoles, cares for its clients' eyesight with the same attention to detail it puts into choosing every frame. I designed and built its website with one fixed idea: say a lot with very little, and let the team manage it on its own from day one.

I'm an AI Specialist at Hooba, where I lead the team's AI projects and look for ways to apply it to everyday work. With one clear idea: AI speeds things up, but people make the decisions.

I also run Atiza, my design studio, where I design and build websites and brands for businesses that want to grow. Each one built for a clear goal: that people write to you, buy from you, trust you. Taking care of the details you don't see: the rhythm of the spacing, a well-timed transition, copy that sounds like a person. I've published more than 150 projects over my career, and each one has taught me something I bring to the next.

Technology changes. The way to care for a website doesn't.

AI is now the foundation of how I build, but not of what I decide. I design every website to measure, alongside you. I move fast where I can and slow down where it matters. At the end I hand you the website with the keys, ready for your clients to enjoy and for your team to edit without fear and without depending on me. AI brings the speed, and the time it saves me I spend listening: my attention is always on whoever is going to use the website.

This website is the proof: I designed it in Figma and built it with Claude Code on Astro, with rules from the first commit and screen-by-screen review. The code lives on GitHub and every change is published automatically on Vercel.

Case study

Dua Òptica

Context

A brand ready to go

Dua started with a lot in its favour: a brand with personality, with its handwritten logo, and a catalogue of eyewear brands with first-class imagery. It was an optician with everything it needed to stand out, and the challenge was to give it an online home to match. Marta, the optometrist, was clear from the start: she wanted a website that explained itself through images, not paragraphs.

What I did

Few pieces, lots of image

I designed and built the website in Hooba, around those images. AI helped me organise the structure and cut the copy down to the essentials, so every word would serve the image. I also set the website up to be managed from within: the optician’s team can update the content without depending on anyone.

Approach

Managed from within

Short copy, big images and plenty of white space. With very few elements, the website says much more than it shows. Today the team updates the content on its own, and Dua has an open door to new clients online. A website you understand at a glance, as befits a business that lives by the eye.
